They call it the "Third Fridays in Wyandotte" event. Jim, the host, had a nice PA system set-up on the street. Crazy Mark opened. Check him out at www.crazymark.com. He's crazy. And fun. Then Shell took the stage. She played all original songs on acoustic guitar. You can find them both at MP3.com. Unfortunately she had to play above the sound of many barking dogs (who could not bark in key). Next door was some kind of adopt a pet thing going on. Across the street was a "christian biker coffee shop". Near by was an ice-cream shop. Ice cream cones and Harleys and barking dogs were everywhere. I followed Shell with Cyndy video taping the whole thing. I was followed by Charles who played older trad folk. Jim closed it all out with a set of Native American folk.Tuesday, July 16, 2002 .Sunday, July 14, 2002 Strange Origins of the Pledge of Allegiance / |
