Angel Race an original song recorded at home with fiddlerbob on fiddle.
Holler Tree recorded live at Rubber Soul in Ypsilanti MI with fiddlerbob once again. I love that dude. The lyrics to this song are by Woody Guthrie, music is my arrangement of Wilco's arrangement.

Cyndy hosts a 7 hour and 50 minute streaming playlist of my recordings, some covers and some originals. Why she does it is anybody's guess. .

The Western Land I wrote this song last summer to try to capture the feel and excitement of my train ride to New Mexico with my lovely Cyndy. We both had a great time. Unfortunately, Cyndy's no longerwith me...her heart is in the Yukon. But the song lives on.

Spent over six hours sitting at the river today. Listened to some improvised music for awhile on the radio, then spent quite a bit of time in silence. All this with proper medications of course. Solitude is a medication unto itself. To quote Chris Whitley "Isolation in the middle of town.
Must be time to power down".
Miss Emilia where are you now".

I'm just dancing on the gallows. As days grow numbered, Art and Song take precedence over politics. Art is stronger than politics. Art is more meaningful than politics. Or maybe it is just past my bedtime.
